Rodney Worth Philbert, age 50 of Terre Haute passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, November 20. 2017. He was born in Pendleton, Indiana to Joe Philbert and Sandra Davis. He was an avid outdoors man and skilled carpenter. He participated in charitable building restorations including Habitat for Humanity, Lowe's Hero's Project, and assisted in refurbishing of the Terre Haute Lighthouse Mission. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Penny; son Nick Philbert; daughter Hannah Wright (Frederick); father Joe Philbert; brothers Jeff (Hyang) Philbert, Mark (Heather) Philbert, Mike (Charity) Moore, and Chris Moore; sisters Dawn Mahoney and Julie Philbert and grandchildren Maverick Wright and Ayda Wright. In honor of his wishes cremation was chosen. DeBaun Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. A celebration of life is being planned for a later time.
