Robert F. Stringer, 87, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, Novermber 25, 2019. He was born June 23, 1932 in Roachdale, Indiana to Leeland and Lucille Stringer. Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Hollen of Greenfield; Chuck Tyner and his wife Seante of Chicago, and Jeffrey Stringer and his wife Shanda of Branson, MO; grandchildren, Matthew Hollen and his wife Mechelle, Joshua Hollen, Taylor Hollen, Jared Douglas, Ethan Tyner, and Sebastian Stringer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 42 years, Ruth Stringer. He was a veteran of the United States Army who served during the Korean War. Robert was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan LaFleur officiating. DeBaun Springhill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
