Robert W. Smith, 86, of Terre Haute and formerly of Michigan, passed away January 22, 2014. He was born in Prairieton on June 7, 1927 to John and Eva Myers Smith. Mr. Smith retired from Ford Motor Company and was a veteran of the US Army and the US Marines. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at noon in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Pastor Fred Harrison officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until services.
