Robert Eugene Hinote, 65, passed away on February 20, 2026. He was born on March 17, 1960 in Terre Haute to Josphine and Harry Hinote. Robert went to West Vigo High School. He loved his dog Rusty, and he enjoyed going fishing. Robert was a big fan of the Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR, specifically Dale Earnhart Sr.

He is survived by his sister Virginia Mitchell, brother Clarence Bricker Jr., and nieces and nephews Crystal Bricker, Hailey Holstein, Josephine Holstein, Michael Ping, Joshua Ping Jr., Jacob Bricker, Jordan Rayborn, and Sophia Rayborn.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother and father, brother Harry, nephew Shaun Strange, and nephew Clarence Bricker III.

Cremation has been entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Highland Lawn at a later date.
