Born Terry Wayne Judson in 1951, Bob, age 3, and his siblings were placed in the Glen Home orphanage in 1955. He and his youngest sister, Janelle (nee Sharon) were adopted that same year by Jane and Robert Crume of Terre Haute and given new names. He was graduated from Honey Creek High School in 1970, served four years in the U.S. Navy, and then returned to Terre Haute. He and his sister were re-united with their surviving birth siblings in 2012 after his niece, Christi Bartley, found a posting on the defunct orphanage's digital message board. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Judson (Shelda), sisters JoAnn Hayden (John, deceased), Marilyn Fagg (Jerry Lee), and Janelle Smith (Stephen) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his adoptive parents, Jane and Robert Crume, and five birth siblings of whom he was fortunate enough to meet only one, Phyllis, before her death in 2014. He was also greatly blessed by his friendship with Cheryl Baldridge and her mother-in-law, Juanita, who were always there for him in his later years. Cheryl's dog, Annie, always knew how to make him feel better on a bad day. The funeral will be held at 1:00 P.M. no Oct. 14, 2022, at the DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, with visitation from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 13. Interment will be in the family plot at Hull Cemetery.
