Robert C. "Bob" Cramer, 82, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday February 4, 2024 in Gibson Family Hospice Center, He was born May 7, 1941 in Carbon, Indiana to Vernon E, and Mary E. (Wilson) Cramer. Bob had worked for Penn Central Railroad, he then went to work for J.I. Case in Terre Haute until they closed, at which time he went to work for the Grower's CO-OP in Brazil until his retirement. He also spent many years as a hog farmer. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, JoAnn (McCune) Cramer; daughter, Robin Cramer (Anita Bean); son, Brad Cramer (Leeanne); grandchildren, Amanda Drake (Jason), Nick Cramer, Catherine Perry (Logan), and Susan Cramer; great-grandchildren, Colbie Drake and Brecken Drake and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Vernon W. Cramer. Bob enjoyed many activities including traveling, going to the casinos, collecting Lionel trains and toy farm equipment and attending the many activities his grandchildren were involved in over the years. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of the Riley American Legion, VFW, Riley Masonic Lodge #390, and the Scottish Rite.. Visitation will be Thursday February 8, 2024 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Friday February 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Larry Branham officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in New Harmony Cemetery.
