Robert Alexander Gibson, III, "Bob" to those who knew and loved him, died Sunday, October 12, 2025, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born April 11, 1952, in Terre Haute and lived there most of his life. He attended Wiley High School and Indiana State University. Bob was an artist whose eye for color served him well in his profession as a manager and color consultant for MAB Paint and later as warehouse manager for Wolohan Lumber Company. Many of his later years were spent caring for his mother and father after they retired. His hobbies included playing poker, shooting pool, listening to music, and spending time with friends.

Bob has now joined his mother Claudia, father Robert, and younger sister Martha in their eternal rest. In addition to his sisters Debbie Evans, Mary Coker, and Melanie Green, Bob is survived by his nephew Aaron, niece Anna, and several great nieces and nephews. In accordance with Bob's wishes, no funeral service is planned, however a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, Indiana.
