Rita M. Thomas, 74, of Centerpoint, Indiana passed away Tuesday November 11, 2025 in  Gibson Family Hospice Center. She was born October 31. 1951 in Greencastle, Indiana to Phillip Bryd and Rose (Girton) Richard. Rita is survived by her sons, John "JD" Thomas and wife Shelley and Mike Thomas and wife Jamee; sister, Nima Bevis and husband Tony; brothers, Aaron Byrd and wife Marilyn, Faron Richard and wife Sherry, Ralph Richard, and Chuck Byrd; grandchildren, Lucas Thomas, Emma Thomas, Griffin Cassagne and wife Mollie, Christian Cleveland, and Samantha Boardman; several nieces and nephews and her extended family in Texas and Colorado.
