Richard Delano Wilson, 55 of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:02 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2013 in Union Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on January 25, 1958 to Ira D. Wilson and Norma J. McCoskey Wilson. Richard is survived by his Mother, Norma J. Wilson, his son, Dean Marshall Wilson, and three sisters; Kathy Selvia, Connie Young and husband David, and Terri Walker and husband Harold. Other survivors include Richard's two grandchildren, Sofia Wilson and James Wilson. Also surviving is his girlfriend, Amanda Adkins, a step-son, Joe Adkins, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ira D. Wilson, and two brothers, Robert Wilson and Donald Wilson. Graveside services will be held at Watson Cemetery on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 10:30 AM, with Rev. Wendell Kirkman officiating. Burial is in Watson Cemetery. DeBaun Springhill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
