Richard Leroy Roberts, 82 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. He was born in Terre Haute on March 16, 1935 to Chester T. Roberts and Gladys York Roberts. He retired from Vigo Dodge as an auto body repairman and mechanic, and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and he enjoyed trains and cars. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Bonzo (husband Ken), a special cousin, Billie Jones, as well as 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Price Roberts in 2013, and his son Douglas Roberts. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen with burial of ashes at a later date in Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Funeral Homes and Crematory.
