Obituary

Richard E. DeClue, 67, of Terre Haute passes away Tuesday January 16, 2018 in Signature Healthcare. He was a carpenter. Richard was born June 13, 1950 in Potosi, MO to Eugene Clinton DeClue and Nancy Emmajean (Davis) DeClue. He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Mason) DeClue; daughters, Shauna DeClue and Michelle DeClue; sons, Matt Stork and Adam Lake and step-son, Craig Parker; sisters, Mary Ann, Denise, Laura, and Twanna; brother, Bobby DeClue; special friend, Kyle Diethrich; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Cathy, Ellen, and Ginger and a brother, Danny. Richard made replicas of Native American tools, weapons, cradle boards, chief staffs and more. He was a U.S. Navy veteran stationed off shore in Vietnam with home base in Norfolk, VA.  Per Richard's request, cremation has been chosen; there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
