Randolph "Randy"
David Street
April 29, 1949 – August 9, 2025
Randolph "Randy" David Street, 76, of Terre Haute, Indiana, went to his eternal home on August 9, 2025, after an extended illness. Born April 29, 1949, in Vincennes, Indiana, Randy lived a life filled with hard work, laughter, and an unwavering love for the people around him.
For more than 30 years, Randy owned and operated his own tree service, pouring his heart into every job. He took great pride in his work, not just for the sake of doing it well, but because it was another way to connect with people and help them. Randy's hands were calloused from labor, but his heart was tender — quick to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer words of encouragement. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel like an old friend.
Randy cherished the life he built with his beloved companion, Darby, the love of his life. Together they shared countless adventures, quiet moments, and the kind of love that inspires those around them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Etta (Witsman) Street; brothers, Richard Waldo and Robert Wayne Street; sister-in-law, Carol Street; and brother-in-law, Richard Edgington
Randy leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and friendship. He is survived by his siblings, Charles D. Street (Ellen), Brenda Neighbors (Rick), Vivian Sue Edgington, and Patricia Cox (Roger), along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever remember his kindness, humor, and larger-than-life personality.
In keeping with Randy's wishes, no formal services will be held. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories and honor the man who gave so much of himself to others.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Randy's memory to Riley Children's Hospital.
