October 27, 1940 - November 14, 2016 Ralph John Doolittle, 76, of Terre Haute, Indiana, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born in Medford, Wisconsin on October 27, 1940 to Philip and Mabel Doolittle. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Douglas Wesley Doolittle and sister, Audrey Hunter. He is survived by Grace Doolittle, his wife of 54 years, and three daughters; Glorianne (David) Levy, Kristi (Andrew) Altvater, and Sharon (Lee) Green and 13 grandchildren. Also surviving is daughter-in-law Diane Doolittle, brother Robert Doolittle, and sisters Marjorie Daggett and Edith Doolittle. Ralph was a retired animal technician at Schering-Plough for 46 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of West Terre Haute. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a faithful prayer warrior and supporter of missions. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor David Levy and Pastor Jeff Augustus officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 5:00 PM -8:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions can be made to Hope Children's Home of Tampa, FL.
