Phyllis Ann Sears, 77 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in her residence. She was born in Linton, IN on August 15, 1937 to Ralph Owen and Dorothy Hart Owen. Phyllis was a member of the Hillister Baptist Church in Hillister, TX and also volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital in Woodville, TX. She is survived by her children; Denise Wigley (Otis). Ed Sears, Robert Sears, Jr. (Rachel), Lorrie Tetlow (Chuck), Ronald Sears (Beverly), and Cynthia McConathy (Scott). Also surviving are four sisters; Sharon Smith, Barbara Reed, Linda Hall, and Pamela Pitts. Other survivors include 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sister, Kay Kolodka. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Phillip Gormong officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled on Saturday from 10:00 AM -1:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
