Phillip Edward Cox, age 68, of Terre Haute passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2026. He was born on June 21, 1958 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Charles Q Cox and Dorothy M Cox (Fuson). He graduated from State High School in 1976 and worked most of his adult life in janitorial services. He loved to watch professional wrestling and shoot pool with his brother and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his two brothers Charles R (Jamie) Cox of Terre Haute and Michael (Cynthia) Cox of Florida; nieces, Megan (Nick) Rajski of Monroe, Connecticut, Cassandra (Adam) Gareis of Chicago, Illinois, Rebecca Rosa of Terre Haute, Starr Cox of Terre Haute; nephews Jordan (Katie) Witt of Huntingburg, Indiana and Michael Sean Cox of Florida. As well as many great nieces and nephews and his many friends where he lived at Brownstone Manor. A private cremation has been arranged through Debaun Funeral Home. No public services are scheduled at this time.
