Phillip Boggs, 59, passed away at home on April 7, 2021.  He was born in Decatur, IL on May 8, 1961.  Phil is preceded in death by his father as well as his mother, Doris Virginia Boggs.  He is survived by his brother Patrick Boggs (JoAnn); nephews Wesley and Colin Boggs; niece Brittany Shepard and step-daughter Chelsey White.  Phil was a supporter of the Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame.  He had a great passion for music playing in the bands Jimmy and the Whole Damn Band, Probably Bob, and Party Doll.  Phil enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his nephews.  Phil was known to many as "Uncle Phil."  Visitation for Phil will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, April 17 from 2:00-6:00 PM EST.  Burial with a graveside service will be at Oakridge Cemetery in Effingham, IL on Sunday, April 18 at 12:00 PM CST.
