Peggy Sue (Hopkins) Montgomery of Corydon, formerly of Farmersburg, passed away Oct. 13, 2017. She was born in Carter Nines, Okla., to the late Barney and Thelma (Turner) Hopkins, on June 2, 1934.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; and two grandsons, Eugene and Cary. She is survived by her seven children, Pamela Montgomery (S.C.), Theresa Hyde (Farmersburg), Cathy Trout (Florida), Cindy Pickens (Hawaii), Lloyd Montgomery (Florida), Brad Montgomery (Indiana), and Summers Montgomery (Corydon); many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at Community Church of Farmersburg, with services immediately following. No graveside services scheduled as she wishes to be cremated.
