Peggy Lee Grimes, 97, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away Thursday July 30, 2026 in Deaconess Gateway in Newburg, Indiana. She was born October 15, 1928 in Alton, Illinois to Roy and Helen (McKinley) Tague. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Loretta Grimes; granddaughter, Amy Anderson and great-granddaughter, Jacquline Horsley. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Stone; second husband, Otis Grimes; daughter, Bonnie Flynn; stepdaughter, Phyllis Bogard; sister, Shirley Wilson and brothers, Eddie Tague and Gene Tague. Peggy was a wonderful seamstress and homemaker who loved cooking for others and the whole family always looked forward to the delicious homemade meals and desserts she would make. Peggy also enjoyed working on word search puzzles and was an avid book reader. Per Peggy’s request cremation has been entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home.
