Pauline Hill, 101, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Westminster Village.  She was born August 24, 1920 in Vigo County to Alva Hoopengarner and Mae Jackson Hoopengarner.  Pauline was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Even at 100 years old she was always wanting to make sure everyone was taken care of and doing well.  She and her late husband, Wilbur loved to garden and spent hours caring for their vegetables and flowers.  Pauline loved the sky and was always admiring the sunrises and sunsets, forever appreciating the beauty of it all.  Her family loved her traditions at Christmas, especially when she made Chex Mix for everyone.  She was a member of the United Methodist Temple and a member of the O.E.S. Pimento #516.

Pauline is survived by her son Dan R. Hill, grandchildren Andrew Hill, Matthew Hill, Kristen Hill, and Melisa Weaver; several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 82 years Wilbur R. Hill who passed away April 10, 2022, her son Robert Hill, and brother Robert Hoopengarner.

Graveside services will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Chris Gadlage will officiate.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Pauline to Heart to Heart Hospice.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
