Pauline Bailey Higgins, 95, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday January 17, 2016 at 7:15 pm Southwood Healthcare Center. She had worked at Chesty Foods and St. Anthony Hospital. Pauline was born June 4, 1920 in Terre Haute to Joseph Bivins and Abigail (Green) Bivins. She is survived by, daughters, Judy Bailey, Sharon Anderson, Peggy Keith, Georgetta Cuffel, and Tina Bailey; sons, Frank Bailey, George Bailey, and Bill Bailey; 27 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Bailey, her second husband, Lester Todd Higgins, a son, Jack Bailey, a brother, Ed Bivins, 2 grandsons, Brian Bailey and Todd Bailey, and a son-in-law, Kenny Keith. Pauline was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Farmersburg and loved to play bingo and dance. Visitation will be Friday January 22, 2016 from 12:00 until 2:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with funeral services at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend John Moody officiating. Cremation will follow. If friends desire, donations will be accepted.
