Pauline Georgette Cherry, 82, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday June 8, 2014. She was born February 22, 1932 to Peter and Virginia (Zielinski) Kaniewski in Milford, IL. Pauline retired after 33 years as a secretary for CSC/Mallinckrodt in July 1987. She is survived by a niece, Marilyn O'Donnell of Terre Haute; nephew, David Kaniewski and his wife Judi of Williamsport, IN and several cousins and immediate families. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Cherry, Jr. who died March 25, 1995, sister, Rosalie Kaniewski, and brothers, Franklin and Edward Kaniewski. Pauline enjoyed flower gardening and reading. She was a 40 year member of Beta Sigma Phi. As per Pauline's request, cremation has been chosen with no services. DeBaun Funeral Homes, Wabash Avenue Chapel, 2425 Wabash Ave. is in charge of arrangements. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of their choice.
