Paul Joseph Steed, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away on October 30, 2013 at 6:00p.m. in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on October 24, 1928 to William and Louise (Vollmuth) Steed. Paul was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Terre Haute. He was in the Coast Guard and then served in the Army during the Korean War. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Patricia Steed; brother William Steed; and sister Mary Lou Steed. He is survived by his daughters Caryn Clampitt, husband Jim, Glenna Peters, husband Don; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren all of Terre Haute; and sister Betty Steed of Indianapolis, IN. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday November 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 2322 N 13th 1/2 Street. Father John Hollowell will be officiating. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at DeBaun Funeral Homes Wabash Ave Chapel, 2425 Wabash Ave, on Tuesday from 10:00a.m. until 1:15 p.m.
