Paul W. Eikelman, 80, of Seymour, IN and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Friday September 25, 2015 in his residence. He was a retired steelworker of Stran Steel. Paul was born November 18, 1934 in Jasonville, IN to John Eikelman and Docia (Lynch) Eikelman. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy (Byers) Eikelman; sons, Fred Eikelman and wife Sandra of Hartsville, IN, Mark Eikelman of Chicago, and Steve Eikelman and wife Patty of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Nicholas Eikelman, Emma Eikelman, and Lily Eikelman; a sister, Pam Edwards of Lizton, IN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Shirley Eikelman and Melba May and two brothers, Dave Eikelman and Ronald "Bo" Eikelman. Paul was a Sergeant in the US Army, and served in Germany after the war. He was a member of the American Legion and a devote Christian. Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Funeral Homes, Springhill chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with funeral services on Saturday October 3, 2015 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard.
