Obituary

Paul W. Bledsoe, Terre Haute, passed away July 15th, 2016. He was born in Dugger, Indiana on March 16th, 1936 to Russell and Alma Bledsoe. He is survived by his son Bryan and Bryan's mother Lucy Bledsoe, three grandchildren: Dustin (Whitney), Clayton (Haliegh), Audrey and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Jane Bledsoe, two brothers, Jack Bledsoe and George Sly as well as twelve nieces and nephews and his enduring companion Mary Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, a brother, and one great-granddaughter. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired field engineer for the IBM Corporation. He will be affectionately remembered for his deep love of family, his keen wit, an admirably adventurous spirit, and a remarkably wide ranging intellect. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Paul was fascinated by the natural world and its wildlife. In view of this, donations in his memory may be made to the Friends of Goose Pond Endowment Fund at Friends of Goose Pond. P.O. Box 56. Linton, IN 47441.
