Patricia "Patty" Guess, 64 of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.  She was born in Terre Haute on August 4, 1953 to Charles Swaim and Betty Jacqueline Gilbert Swaim.  Patty was an administrative assistant at ISU and previously had worked at Columbia House for 30 years.  She is survived by her husband Adrian R. Guess and five children;  Josh Guess, Jessica Guess (Allen), Jolyn Osborne (John), Jordan Guess, and Jared Guess (Alicia).  Also surviving are three brothers;  Robert Lacey (Claudette), James Lacey (Arthella), and Gary Lacey (Carolyn), as well as 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Patty enjoyed going to country music concerts, C.M.A. meet and greets, but most of all, loved her family and many special friends.  Holidays and all get-togethers were very special to her.  Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Billy Joe Henry and Pastor Barry Briley officiating.  Burial will follow at New Harmony Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
