Patricia Jo Edwards, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away at 10:07 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in her residence. She was born in Terre Haute on January 3, 1934 to Frank Fawley and Dorothy Steele Fawley. She is survived by her husband Billy J. Edwards—whom she married November 28, 1953. Patricia is also survived by her children; Sharon Norris (Jerry), Cathy Norris, Steve Edwards, Judi Barnes, and Sandy Hayward (Doug). Also surviving are her grandchildren; Dusty Norris, T. J. Norris, Luke Barnes, Christie Wright, Jared Norris, and Katie Elson, as well as five great grandchildren. Other survivors include a special niece, Nancy Boyles as well as other nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Jean Kelm. Her memberships include the Prairieton United Methodist Church, Prairieton United Methodist Women's Club, Prairieton United Methodist Church Helping Hands—where she had served as treasurer, the Church Choir, Prairieton Home Economics Club, Vigo County Extension Homemakers Chorus, Terre Haute Christian Women's Club, Goldwing Road Riders Assn., and the Vigo County Pilots' Assn. Funeral services will be held at the Prairieton United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Duane Caperton officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM in Prairieton United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either Gentiva Hospice or the Prairieton United Methodist Church.
