Patricia Marie Coleman Steward, 70, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care only six days prior to the passing of her loving husband  of 53 years, Gary D. Steward. She was born March 17, 1950 in Terre Haute to Charles William Coleman, Jr. and Thelma Louise Cordrey Webster Coleman.  Patricia was a retired Salvation Army Minister, member of the American Legion 104, Rotary Club, Eagles Lodge, and the Eastern Star.  Lovingly referred to as "Nanny Granny, her pride and joy was spending time with her grandchildren.  Patricia was a precious talented artist.

She is survived by her son Brian Steward (Melissa), daughters Yvonne Walker (Robby) and Nicole Hoopingarner (Billy), grandchildren Xavier Nenneman, Xenia Rich (Nathan), Natalie and Lillian Hoopingarner, Chandler, Bailey, and Gavin Steward, great grandchildren Keilee, Maelee, and Leelan Rich, Khai, and Hailey Nenneman, brother Rosco Coleman (Sharon), and sister Charlene Wilkey (Steve), sisters-in-law Sue Coleman, Edith Steward, and Darlene Webster.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, son Derrick Deon Steward, grandson Charles Joseph Hoopingarner, great grandchild Heavenly Baby Rich, brothers Jack Webster, Jerry Webster, and Goly Coleman, sisters Gladys and Anita Coleman, brothers-in-law Jerry Steward and Larry Steward, and sister-in-law Jackie Webster.

Visitation for Patricia and Gray will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Southside Church of Christ, 4117 S. 7th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday as well.  Cremation was entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
