Orvetta Rose "Betsy" Wallace, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday January 26, 2022 in Meadows Manor East. She was a Title I Teacher's Assistant at Fuqua Elementary for 38 years followed by being a Foster Grandma at Meadows Elementary.  She was a member of Pimento Chapter #516 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  Betsy was born May 30, 1930 in Sullivan, Indiana to William Walter and Letha Ann (Pierce) Eldridge and was the youngest of 13. She is survived by her son, Randy Wallace, his wife, Denise, and their children Zach, Steven, Jillian, and Tabitha all of Midlothian, TX.  She is survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Roy Wallace. Visitation will be Sunday January 30, 2022 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Rebecca Zelensky officiating.
