Norma F. Little, 84, of Lewis, passed away with her loving family by her side in Cobblestone Health Center on January 12, 2014. She was a retired farmer's wife. She was born on December 19, 1929 in Vigo County to Harry and Margaret Knight. She and her husband Bill were owner and operator of Little Poultry Farm in Farmersburg. Norma was a member of Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera, IN. Norma is survived by her two daughters Linda Little of Terre Haute, Debbie Trimble, and her husband Tony of Carlisle; son-in-law Jim Ridge of Lewis; three grandchildren Kari Gerth, her husband Chris of Lewis, Kelly Notter, her husband Joe of Center Pointe, and Kevin Shew of North Carolina; five great grandchildren Wyatt Gerth, Olyvia Notter, Lane Notter, Kaden Shew, and Avery Shew; sisters Maxine Brooks, her husband Tom of Terre Haute, Betty Kilgore, her husband Lee of Danville, IL, Freda Bratcher, and her husband Bill of Tennessee; brother Garland Knight, and his wife Ellen of Terre Haute; brother-in-law Raymond Little, his wife Janet of Lewis; sister-in-law Dorothy Padgett of Farmersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill Little in 2003, whom she married on January 6, 1950; daughter Donna Ridge; brothers Bob Knight, Arthur Knight, Carl Knight, and Dale Knight; sisters Katherine Knight, Marie Baugh, Virginia Smith, and Doris Clark. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday January 15, 2014 at 9:00a.m. in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Burial will be in Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery. Pastor Jimmy Quick will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmanuel Apostolic Church, 122 S Main Street, Hymera, IN 47855. Norma's Family is grateful for the extraordinary care and support, Norma received from Cobblestone Health Care Center and Southern Care Hospice of Terre Haute.
