Norma J. (Hill) Eldridge, 88 of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Meadows Manor North. She was born on February 23, 1928 in Linton Township to Oral and Ethel Adams Hill. She is survived by her brother Wilbur Hill (Pauline), sister-in-law Betsy Wallace, and several nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death in 2011 by her husband Robert, the love of her life for 58 years, brothers Charles and Walter, and sister Pauline. Norma was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making crafts and ceramics in her younger years. She loved the holidays and spending time with family friends. A longtime member of Faith Wesleyan Church, Norma truly cherished the special friends in her church family. The family would like to acknowledge and give special thanks to the Nurses, and CNA's at Union Hospital and Meadows Manor North for the expert and loving care they provided Norma during her illness. It is deeply appreciated and never will be forgotten. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, with Pastor Ray Austin officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Faith Wesleyan Church or the charity of your choice.
