Obituary

Nancy Darlene Catterlin, 84, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026. She was born in Terre Haute on July 5, 1941, to Marvin Catterlin and Esther Lucille King Catterlin. Nancy was one of a kind. She played softball in high school. After graduating, she moved to Bloomington and there she worked at GE and retired from there. Nancy then worked at Monroe County Park doing maintenance. She was blessed with two families. In early years, she had a Bloomington family which included Richard Fisher, Connie Kasperowicz, and Martha Jane Hillenburg. After retiring from Monroe Park, she moved back to Terre Haute to be with her family here that included Ralph Reedy (Jeri), Debra Long, Randall Reedy (Janice, Cynithia Reedy (Caregiver), and Dennis Duke.

Nancy loved the outdoors. She enjoyed boating, fishing, and gardening. She especially loved being around family. Her dog Sugar Bear ruled the house.

A special thank you to her neighbors that kept an eye out for her, Dave and Lisa Archer, Claude and Tonya, Lorrie Miller, and Shelly Watson. Aunt Nancy will be greatly missed.

She is survived by nieces and nephews Ralph Reedy (Jeri), Deborah Long, Randy Reedy (Janice), Cynthia Reedy, Dennis Duke, Donnie Kaseymeyer, Danny Kasemeyer, and Douglas Kasemeyer. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, partner Virginia Carter, sisters Beverly Sisk, Betty Jane Westfall, and Linda Lou Catterlin, and her beloved dog Sugar Bear.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at DeBaun Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home.
