Myrna Evelyn Brokaw, 95, formerly of Terre Haute and who has lived in St. Petersburg, FL for the last 21 years, passed away Sunday October 15, 2015 in the Palm Gardens of Pinellas in Florida. She was retired from the Terre Haute South Vigo High School Cafeteria. Myrna was born June 30, 1922 in Toledo, IL to Henry H. Adkins and Lela Ruth (Green) Adkins. She is survived by sons, Joseph Brokaw and Fred Brokaw III (Melanie) and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Brokaw who died October 1994 and sisters, Elda Connell and Myrtle Adkins. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Graveside services will be Friday October 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm in South Vigo Congregational Cemetery (Black Cemetery) with Mark Grayless officiating. DeBaun Funeral Homes in in charge of arrangements.
