Muriel Ruth Kluesner, 90, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born November 4, 1925 in Riley, Indiana to Nelson Nicoson and Ruby Streeter Nicoson. Muriel was a homemaker. She was a member of World Gospel Church, Riley Sunshine Club and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed flowers and bird watching, especially hummingbirds. She liked quilt making and watching the deer in her backyard. Muriel was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Calvin R. Kluesner, who died July 16, 1981. She is survived by her son, Gregg Kluesner and his wife, Janis of Terre Haute; her daughter, Debra Stringer and her husband, Dean of Dugger, Indiana; her sisters, Faye Moseman and Norma Wedgewood Marek; her four grandsons, Neil, Brent, Scott and Charlie; and her two great granddaughters, Audrey and Lily. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley, Indiana. Muriel lived a long and full life, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers a contribution to a charity of your choice be made in her honor. DeBaun Funeral Home, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana assisted the family with arrangements.
