Obituary

Minnie Lou (Mail) Kaperak, 77, of Terre Haute passed away on May 15, 2013. She was born on December 11, 1935 to Benjamin Mail and Josephine (James) Mail. Minnie was a 1953 graduate of Honey Creek High School. She was a member of Maryland Community Church and The Home Economics Club. She was an avid Pacers and Cubs fan. Minnie enjoyed traveling as well. Most of all Minnie was a loving wife, and mother. Her family was very important to her. Minnie is survived by her husband of 56 years Robert "Bob" Kaperak; son Robert "Joe" Kaperak, and his wife Martha, of Nashville, TN; daughter Leslie Ellis, and her husband Eric of Terre Haute; son-in-law Doug Miner; grandchildren Jennifer (Miner) Casterline, Ashley Miner, Lindsay Miner, Sarah Miner, Jordan Ellis, Kaylee Ellis, Landon Ellis, Carter Ellis, Anna Kaperak, and Megan Kaperak; great grandchildren Grace Casterline, Caitlyn Casterline, and Xavier Miner; sister Sylvia Mail; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Tracy Miner in 2007; brothers Jack Mail, Charles Joe Mail, infant brother Samuel Mail; and sisters Martha House, Mary Steele, Mazie Roberts, Essie Keller, and Anna Meyer. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday May 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Pastor Mike Roberts, her nephew, and Pastor Ken Wadum will be officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday May 17, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will also be visitation on Saturday from Noon until service time. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Tracy's Heart Congo.
