Mildred Nelda Price-Vencel, 90, of Terre Haute passed away at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, January 08, 2017, at Cobblestone Nursing Home. She was born December 29, 1926 in Terre Haute IN, to Glen Price and Wanda Boyll Price. She graduated Honey Creek High School; she enjoyed playing clarinet, baking, as well as knitting. Mildred spent much of her life with her Aunt Ada E. (Boyll) Mays and Uncle Edgar Mays. Mildred retired from Pfizer, Inc. During her time at Pfizer she was administrative assistant for plant managers. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Boulder Co. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Joesph Vencel, who passed away June, 1994. She is survived by nieces and nephews. The family asks that contributions be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society. There will be a private burial for Mildred at New Harmony Cemetery. The family would also like to thank the nursing staff at Cobblestone for the excellent care that was received.
