Mildred L Ellis, 96, passed away January 13, 2020 at Harrison's Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute. Mildred "Mick" Bender Ellis was born April 20, 1923 to Albert J. and Sarah (Orcutt) Bender, she was the youngest  of eleven. Upon graduation from Glenn High School in 1941 She was employed by Paitson Bros. Hardware & Heating stores until her retirement at age 79. She is survived by one daughter, Carol Lynn Wallace; one granddaughter, Celeisa "CJ" (Miller) Marek; two great-grandchildren, Kristina (Jones) Robinson and husband Sean; Jacob T. Jones; great-great grandchildren Amberleigh and Sean Robinson Jr. Other survivors include sister-in- law Della (Brown) Bender and several nieces, nephews & cousins.  Visitation for Mildred will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Thursday, January 16 from 11:00- 1:00 with services starting at 1:00 PM. Burial at Highland Lawn will follow.  Pastor Jeff Lee will be officiating.
