Michelle Yvonne Terrell Wilkinson, 52, got her wings to heaven on January 10, 2019 at Union Hospital after a lengthy battle with diabetes and kidney failure.  She was born to Robert and Barbara Terrell in Terre Haute on October 12, 1966.   Shelly was a loving compassionate individual who maintained a positive attitude, a quick smile and her sense of humor even through her struggles.  She was a 1984 graduate of West Vigo High School and worked at Terre Haute Med Lab.  Shelly loved her shared time with her nephew, niece and grandchildren who brought sunshine into her life.  She married Tim Wilkinson in 2011.  Tim was the love of her life and her angel for her care during her time of need.  Shelly loved all animals, especially her three wiener pups.  She developed and valued many friendships throughout her life.  Shelly was preceded in death by her mother and brother Bobby.  She is survived by her husband Tim, her father, sister Andrea Kaufman (David), Aunt Trude and uncle Tim Seprodi, uncle Bill Nicholson, nephew Nathan Kaufman and niece Lila Kaufman, stepdaughters Ashley French (Mike) and Lindsey Alton (Dave), grandchildren; Grayson, Colton, Clark, Molly, Parker, and Ainsley, as well as several cousins. Visitation will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Tuesday January 15, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Pastor Dennis Leek will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Shelly's honor to the Kidney Foundation.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
