Michael S. "Mike" Hassler, 49, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday August 31, 2023 in his residence from AML (Acute Myloid Leukemia). He was born February 2, 1974 in Terre Haute to Dennis and Kathleen (Hopf) Hassler. Mike is survived by his parents; brothers, David Hassler (Megan) and Jonathan Hassler (Jennifer); nieces and nephews, Benjamin Geller, Lillian Cooper, Alyssa Cooper, Nolan Hassler, Lila Hassler, and Leo Hassler and his Danish sister, Karin Bisgaard. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roman and Stella Hoph and Stephen and Marianna Hassler and three siblings, Marie, John, and Joan Hassler. Mike was a loving, caring uncle, brother, and son. He was a 1993 graduate of Terre Haute South High School. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, riding his motorcycle and playing video games and he loved his dogs, Raven and Tori. Visitation will be Wednesday September 6, 2023 from 9:00 until 11:00 am in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to Start at 11:00 am with Father Ben Syberg officiating.
