Michael K. "Mike" Pirtle, 67, of Scottsburg, Indiana and formerly of Farmersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully July 22, 2020. He was born September 18, 1952 to Jack and Patricia Kelly Pirtle. Mike was a free spirit, and his guitar was his best friend. He was happiest playing music and singing, having been part of The Tizloe Brother's Band for many years. Mike also had a hilarious sense of humor. His ability to make you laugh and his beautiful smile will be greatly missed. Mike is survived by his father, Jack, long time companion Rhonda Fleener and her daughter, Gina; sons Michael and Thomas, daughters Kelly and Teresa Ann; grandchildren, Brianna, Olivia, Brant, and Jennings; brothers William "Bill" and David; nephew, Justin (Allyson) and niece, Caroline. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia and grandson, Jackson. Cremation has been chosen with private family burial at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg at a later date.
