Michael “Mike” J. McPheeters, 64, of Farmersburg passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026. He was born in Terre Haute on April 13, 1962, to Norman R. McPheeters and Joanne Williams Jenkins. Mike was a graduate of Terre Haute South High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Mike worked for many years as a carpenter with the Local 133 Union. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors. Mike was also a member of the American Legion Post 197 in Shelburn. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Mike is survived by his siblings Mark McPheeters (Susan) and Marsha Loftis (Ron Southers), nieces Megan Millikan (John), Lindsay Gough (Travis Morris), and Abby Robertson, great nieces and nephews, and several special cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife Lisa Slater McPheeters, whom he married on March 29, 2014.
