Michael Dean Hanna, 47, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at his home.  He was born September 9, 1976, in Paris, Illinois to Thomas D. Hanna and Nancy M. Hickenbotham Hanna.  Mike enjoyed fishing and tinkering in the garage.  He was known for talking smack when playing cornhole and liked to tell jokes.  In his younger years he was a talented musician playing guitar and drums.  He was an avid skateboarder and the break-dancing champion of the neighborhood.  Most of all Mike loved being with his family. He will be missed by many.

Mike is survived by his son Jacob Hanna, daughter Harmony Hanna, the mother of his children Tina Hanna, stepsons Dejzaun Keefer (Shelby), Zack Green, and Christian Keefer, step grandchildren Sophia and Jaxon, siblings Donald Reik (Sue), Ronald Reik, Jerry Reik (Lisa), Jeannie Evans (Thomas), Nancy Evans (Randall), Thomas Hanna (Amie), Mona Passen, Kaye Lynn Cornelius (Richard), Linda Sullivan (Bob), Bill Hanna,  as well as Naomi Woodard (Jason), Thomas Evans (Ashley), Amy Rideout (Jose), Jeffery Evans (Sabrina); and many cousins, nieces and nephews who will all miss him greatly.  He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Alice Hanna.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Services will begin at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Randy Evans officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations to assist the family with these unexpected expenses may be made to the website or at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
