Meredith Taylor Hulett, 69 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 3:45 AM in his residence. He was born in Sullivan, IN on August 10, 1947 to Harry Benjamin Hulett and Lucy Elizabeth Williams Hulett. Meredith was a veteran of the United States Army, where he was a Staff Sgt. and served in Viet Nam, and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church. He is survived by his wife Aretta Sue Smith Hulett, and by his children: Taylor R. Hulett, Benjamin Hulett, Matthew Hulett, and Brock Hulett. Also surviving are his step-children: Robert Powell, Martha Edwards, and Loretta Stuthers. In addition, he is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Marilyn Smith officiating, and Military Rites provided by Wayne Newton American Legion Post # 346. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
