Melody Ann Lear, 62, of Jasper and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Thursday January 28, 2021 in Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born February 14, 1958 in Terre Haute to Homer Lee and Carolyn Sue (White) Webster. She is survived by her sisters, Leigh Ann Bonnett (James) and Rebecca McClellan (John); brothers, Kevin Page and Pete Flick (Vicki); 13 nieces and nephews, 22 great-nieces and great-nephews and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Lear, who died February 18, 2019, her brother, Wesley Webster, and her parents. Melody loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She had a heart of gold and was giving. Visitation will be Friday February 5, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a Memorial Service at 6:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Dustin Spitler officiating.
