Melissa Leyn Burroughs, 57 of Prairie Creek, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Regional Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute on January 30, 1959 to William Lee Burroughs and Doris Burroughs. Melissa is survived by her son Joe Hofmann, and one sister, Donna Burroughs. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, William Lee Burroughs, Jr. She was a member of Prairie Creek First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held at Grandview Cemetery on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 1:30 PM, with Rev. Kevin Dobson officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
