Melinda passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was born in Terre Haute on April 18, 1985, but spent most of her life in Florida. Mindy is survived by her mother, Kely Palmer, and her daughter, Callan Lena Amelia Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, James K. Moulton Jr.

Mindy loved deep-sea fishing, painting, books, and old Rock N Roll. The beaches of Florida were her true home, and a Celebration of Life will be held in Santa Rosa Beach at a later date.

She will be missed forever by her family and friends.
