Meagan Nicholle Fisher, 28, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 1, 1998, in Terre Haute to Russ Fisher and Tina Seward Fisher. Meagan lived her life her way, with free will and determination. She had a beautiful and loving spirit that resonated, touching the lives of everyone she encountered. Meagan was a 2017graduate of Terre Haute South High School. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping and boating. Most of all, her children, Oaklyn and Dutton were her world. Being with family was everything. Meagan was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. She will be missed beyond measure.

Meagan is survived by her parents, Russ Fisher (Melissa), Tina Fisher (Chuck), paternal grandparents Russ and Patricia Fisher, children Oaklyn Fisher and Dutton Fisher, brother Russ Fisher, Jr. (Allison), sister Emily Fisher (Jackson), stepbrother Nic Strain (Kaitlyn), stepsisters Shyann Strain (John) and Emily Strain (Lance), as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bryan Seward and Sandra Heartleroad, and aunt Elizabeth Norder.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Reverend Jeff Lee will officiate. Service will begin at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at New Harmony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Meagan may be made to the American Cancer Society. Following burial, the family invites friends and loved ones to the Kriestenstein American Legion Post 104, 2690 Ft. Harrison Road, Terre Haute, for food and fellowship.
