Maude Marie Lewis, 73 of Brazil, IN, passed away at 12:40 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in her residence. She was born in Vigo County on August 16, 1941 to Marion Tarrh and Lulla Wilson Tarrh. She is survived by three sons; Mark Priehs (wife Teresa), Lester Cunningham, and Larry Cunningham, as well as two daughters, Theresa Parksey (husband Clayton), and Paula Horner (husband Stan). Also surviving is her long-time companion Jimmie Lintz, a brother, Cliff Tarrh (Wife Sharon), and a sister, Rita Soto. In addition she is survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren Gage & Macey and several others, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Marion L. Tarrh, and a sister Wanda Chambers. She was a member of River Community Church, was an avid mushroom hunter, and enjoyed going out & listening to her son play music. Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Julie Lake officiating. Burial will follow in Watson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
