Matthew Curtis West, 30, of Terre Haute, passed away at 7:45 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2013 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on December 17, 1982 to Curtis H. West and Nikki Y. Euratte West. Matthew was a 2001 graduate of Terre Haute South High School, and was a student at Ivy Tech Community College and was a member of the Carpenters Local Union of Terre Haute. He is survived by his mother, Nikki Y. West, and his aunt, Cookie Webster. Also surviving are his cousins Libby, Kenny, and Allison Edington, and Mike and Cheryl Webster, and his beloved dog, Obie. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis H. West., Grandparents Jack and Dorothy Euratte, great grandmother Opal Foshaar, and uncle James Webster. Private services were held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel at an earlier date.
