Mary Delores Morris, 87, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021.  She was born December 27, 1933 in Jackson, Tennesee to Elijah Taylor and Fannie Lee Cleggett Taylor.  Mary was a very talented seamstress.  She did all her sewing by hand.  She could just see something and make it, even without a pattern.  Mary  loved to sing in the church choir.   She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and Calvary Temple.  Most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son Charles Taylor of California, daughters Fannie Howard of Terre Haute, Teresa Ball of Bellville, Illinois, Bettie McCargo (Bornie) of Terre Haute and Delores Blakemore of Terre Haute, as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph C. Morris, daughter Belinda Whitlock, grandsons Eric Arlandus Howard, Chad Antwon Howard, and Chris David Howard, and great grandson Terrance Howard, Jr.
