Mary C. Kuhlman, 94, passed away Saturday evening October 26, 2013 in Regional Hospital. She was born January 29, 1919 in Wrightsville, PA to Walter B. Crumbling and Margaret Hersh Crumbling. She graduated from Wrightsville High School and trained to be a lab technician. She worked at the Elizabethtown Crippled Children's Hospital and the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. Later she managed the Lebanon VAH Federal Credit Union until her retirement. Mary married Paul E. Kuhlman Jr. on July 26, 1940; he preceded her in death in 2006. She and Paul lived in Lebanon, PA until 2003. During that time she was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. After retirement she joined the Holiday Homemakers and rarely missed a gathering. In 2003 she and Paul moved to Terre Haute, IN to live with their daughter Jolynn, where she became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mary was a regular at Indiana State Women's Basketball games and an avid WNBA Indian Fever fan. In addition to her husband Paul, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John. She is survived by two daughters, Jolynn Kuhlman (Terre Haute) and Patricia and husband Michael Phalin (Tampa, FL); five grandchildren, Tiffany and husband Jonathan Watts (Malvern, PA), Tia and husband Dennis Jones (New Providence, PA), Toby Zimmerer and wife Tatiana (Colorado Springs , CO), Travis Zimmerer and wife Tracy (Jamison, PA), and Michael Phalin and wife Michelle (Largo, FL); five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; 3 nieces; and grandpup Rocky. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday November 11th, 2013 at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2620 Ohio Blvd, with Pastor Dana Newhouse officiating. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville, PA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2620 Ohio Blvd, Terre Haute, IN 47803; Harmony Haven; 1049 W. Sandford Ave., West Terre Haute, IN 47885.
